Sleep Training Success?

I originally left the question mark off the title of this post. Then Chris told me not to jinx it. Good point, I thought. So, a question mark was added and I did lots of knocking on wood (well, Ikea "wood" -- but that counts, right?)

But, to get to the point of this post: LAST NIGHT HARPER SLEPT FROM 6:30 P.M. UNTIL 5:45 A.M.

I, of course, woke up every two hours wondering if my daughter was dead.

She wasn't. Instead she's become rather adept at sucking her thumb. My thought? Bring on the orthodontia bills, baby. What's a couple grand compared to a good night's sleep?

So fingers crossed our luck holds tonight. If not, I'm digging last night's pajamas out of the laundry hamper. I am not above lucky pajamas.

Lucky pajamas...hahaha. That made me chuckle outloud. I sure hope last night's success means a permanent habit for her!

We are suffering from the sleeping habits of our 10-month old. What did your training entail? Please don't say "cry-it-out."

Can we switch babies for a week? Just at night? Please?

(Ikea comment killed me.)

I've said this many times... my brother sucked his thumb until he was five. He was the best baby/toddler and his orthodontia cost the same as the rest of us.

If I have to pick Ben's pacifier off the floor one more time at 3 a.m., I might go insane.
