Happy First Birthday, Elliot!

Elliot celebrated his very first birthday this Saturday. Unfortunately, we were having so much fun, I barely got any pictures. Below are a couple of him thoroughly enjoying his birthday sugar cookies--a tradition we're carrying on from my birthdays (I was never much of a cake girl). We missed our family, but were glad we had lots of friends to celebrate with. Elliot had a BALL playing with his friends Ben, Zoe, Kennedy, Gwynne, and Christopher, and loved the balloons, cookies, and tissue paper balls I hung from the ceiling (thanks for the tips, Jill!) And when it was all over, he took a 3 hour nap! I guess he partied until he dropped...

Happy Birthday Elliot!!!! We love you so much! I can't believe it's been a year already. He's so adorable. I'm glad you all had such a great time celebrating his first year. The sugar cookies instead of cake is a great idea. We love you guys!

Well, it has been quite a year. You all have discovered what it is like to have a little one around. They are a lot of fun and a lot of work. You love them to death and sometimes you would like to put them in a cage. A lot of fun is still ahead. Happy Birthday Elliot. I will get his birthday letter to him soon. I have had a very interesting week. Not a really good interesting tho. Grandma K Sorry i am a little slow, but i bet Elliot won't care a bit.
