Frustrated Hopes

Elliot and I spent the last week in Connecticut babysitting while my parents were out of town. What follows is the scenario that played out each morning when we walked Caleb and Josh out to meet the school bus.

I want a backpack too!

The bus! The bus!

Must. Get. On. Bus.

Tears. Screams. And, finally, a resigned, "bye, guys!"

1. How cool that your parents have you to babysit! I love family.

2. Elliot just wants to be a big boy... :)

if only they would stay that excited about school, i bet josh and caleb wanted to trade him places and stay home all day. Where was mom and dad?

I can't believe how big and cute Elliot is! William went through the whole backpack thing and we found a really cute one (Fleurville Lunch Pak) in case you need any Christmas ideas, that is the perfect fit at their age. He carries everything in it!
